The EnerSOLAR ESS emergency light is a standalone, solar powered light with an intelligent controller. The solar panel and rechargeable battery forms the back-up power supply to allow personnel to perform manual operations during substation outage time.

Application:

The EnerSOLAR ESS emergency light is suitable for substations, switch yards, or other areas where the backup emergency light are required.

Component:

The EnerSOLAR ESS emergency light includes four major components:

1. Intelligent Hybrid Driver Boards (IHDB). The IHDB is a microprocessor based control board. It intelligently controls the charging procedure and manages the power input to the LED light in order to maximum the battery operating hours and safety of the lighting area.
2. A high efficient solar panel driven by ENERTIA  ESD integrated Maximum Power Point Tracking system.
3. A high efficiency, high output, cool white LED  array; (The color can be customized)
4. A high capacity rechargeable battery.

How It Works

Based on inputs from the rechargeable battery and solar panel, the IHDB control board continually controls the battery charging/or discharging currents to achieve reliable charging result and to avoid overcharge and over discharge of the battery.

Based on inputs from multi external sensors, the IHDB control board adjusts the output of the LED arrays according to the operating profile to warrant the safety of the lighting area.

The EnerSOLAR ESS emergency light is delivered pre-programmed to our client’s operating profiles.
